Annastasia, 19 from South London performed a superb version of the hit song "Valarie" to earn herself a place at this years x-factor boot camp.

The young mum, currently on maternity leave as a waitress from a well known London restaurant used by many famous singing stars, has always dreamt of becoming a star herself.

Now her ambition has become a step closer with a massive 4 yes votes from the x-factor panel of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue.

Cheryl Cole commented on Annastasia's fantastic voice and said that she really enjoyed the song.

Simon Cowell told Annastasia that he sees potential with her, hopefully the x-factor can now help Annastasia Baker reach her dream of singing stardom.
